Forest Edge Care Home is a privately owned, 32 bed residential care home; specialising in the care of those living with dementia, Alzheimer’s and other cognitive impairments. Set on the outskirts of the New Forest, we are set in a prime location especially as we are located directly opposite Cadnam Garden Centre. With our team of highly skilled, enthusiastic individuals, we thrive in delivering high standards of person-centred care wherever possible. We take great pride in what we do and in making Forest Edge a place like home.

Hello, my name is Darren Hughes and I am the registered manager here at Forest Edge Care Home. I know that finding the right care placement for yourself or a loved one can be an emotional journey.

Our outstanding team of highly skilled and passionate care staff provide the highest standards of tailored care, ensuring that each of our residents unique needs are met. We offer full residential care and support; including respite care, long-term and palliative care. Our care home features a wonderful homely, friendly feel and we make everyone feel part of the family.  We have fantastic relationships with external healthcare professionals who contribute in ensuring all our residents physical, emotional and healthcare needs are being met to the highest standards possible.

We have a qualified cook who provides freshly home cooked meals that is carefully chosen to meet the nutritional needs of every resident. A wide range of food is readily available and our seasonal menus are rotated on a four weekly basis.
